Lab Zero is proud to announce that we’re partnering with 505 Games to develop a new action/RPG, currently titled Indivisible.

Indivisible is inspired by classics like Valkyrie Profile and Super Metroid, but with the unique character, world, and gameplay depth Lab Zero is known for.

Indivisible will be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam Windows / Mac / Linux. The final product will support the English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Japanese and Russian languages.

Indivisible is a side-scrolling RPG in the vein of Valkyrie Profile, spanning a huge fantasy world inspired by our own world’s various cultures and mythologies.

Players will navigate beautiful environments using a variety of different traversal abilities, and engage monsters in fast-paced combat.

Я вообще думал, что они её уже сделали. Года два-три на PS4 в f2p разделе валяется. Но теперь видно самое время бабла срубить.

Она пошаговая. Без разницы сколько там FPS. Их там вроде как 60, но анимация всё равно не ахти какая и динамики нет, так что хоть 15 бы было, один фиг.

Я знаю что она выйдет. Об этом и новость. Но она же лежит в PSN уже хрен знает сколько причём бесплатно. Никогда не качал, рисовка какая-то там безобразная. Я так понимаю, они её либо доделали до состояния когда продать не стыдно (может быть в PSN что-то хуже лежит), либо просто бабла хотят срубить на Свитче (а под шумок и на всём остальном). Собственно тоже самое что и со Spelunker World, когда она годы на PS4 бесплатно валялась и никому не нужна была, а теперь её под другим названием на Switch продают.

Игру стоит ждать не раньше середины 2019 года. У разрабов возникли некоторые проблемы:

- will likely release in mid-2019
- Lab Zero isn’t familiar with submitting a game to Nintendo, which adds to the complications
- the game engine is new to Switch, as well as physical version production factors
- new lead level designer is Matthew Kumar
- new lead writer is Brandon Sheffield
- the game ended up being bigger in terms of story scope than they thought it would be,
- more people were needed to focus on each particular aspect of the game
- finding the right ‘voice’ for Ajna in terms of dialogue was very tough

С виду мне игра нравится, платформер с пошаговыми битвами и РПГ. Визуально игра не отталкивает. Если так пойдет, то придется познакомиться.

не уверен, что такое сочетание жанров мне понравится (оба у меня в фаворе), но визуально смотрится интересно.

И здесь тоже детали всплыли:

- each character in the party is assigned a face button
- everything that character does is tied to that single button
- these controls sort of mimic Smash Bros.
- one button press is a default attack, holding a direction when you hit the button modifies the attack
- create long chains of attacks by switching to a different button once one character is spent and recharging stamina
- the swordsman Dhar's default attack is a powerful slice over a small area
- his down-action powers up his future attacks in that battle
- the botanist Ginseng's up-action is a weak team heal
- there's a pirate woman whose up-action is an artillery shot that can hurt teammates if they're near the target
- there's a meter that builds up with attacks, which is shared among all four characters in your party
- spending chunks of that meter allows characters to use powerful abilities
- Razmi has a strong team heal with this meter
- Ginseng can consistently heal more weakly and leave the meter for one of the stronger attackers
- Ajna navigates the world in a 2D platformer, metroidvania style
- areas are initially locked off, but can be accessed with advanced abilities
- small trinkets are hidden in various areas, and they will impact combat
- after collecting enough crystals, characters can act more times in a row in battle
- after finding enough of a certain type of plant, Ginseng joins the group
- catching an enemy off guard with an attack in the overworld starts the battle with all characters at full stamina
- if an enemy gets the jump on Ajna, the group starts with no abilities at the ready and can only defend for the first attack
- Ajna's uppercut launches an enemy into the air
- there will be at least 20 playable characters at launch
