LONDON, ON – March 25, 2019 – Canadian developer and publisher Digital Extremes is humbled and proud to announce today its cooperative online hit Warframe® has reached nearly 50 million registered online users on its sixth anniversary, making 2018 its biggest year of growth to date. To celebrate the occasion, it is giving birthday gifts to all Tenno for free this Wednesday, March 27, including a brand new exclusive Liset (landing craft) Skin, last year’s amazing Dex Excalibur skin, and all its previous anniversary gifts!

The year 2018 was explosive for Warframe. Digital Extremes’ flagship title saw unprecedented growth as players dug into 111 hotfixes and 26 updates, played Warframe for the first time on Nintendo Switch™, and tuned into TennoLive and our Devstreams in record numbers. As a result, Warframe grew from 38 million registered online users in March 2018 to nearly 50 million in March 2019, its largest yearly registered user growth yet.

In addition to record breaking signups, Warframe also reached new peaks for daily active users (DAU) and monthly active users (MAU) in 2018. TennoLive 2018, Warframe’s annual keynote at its fan convention TennoCon, grew from 16,000 views in 2017 to 413,000 in 2018, a 2,481.25% increase, making Warframe the 14th highest concurrently viewed game on Twitch in 2018 (stats).

This year, Digital Extremes already has launched two major updates with many more in the works. In late February, Nightwave kicked off the company’s first-ever cross-platform content update that refreshed Warframe’s Alert System with seasonal, story-based content and rewards. Two weeks later the dev team turned around and gave Tenno Operation: Buried Debts, the second massive update to Fortuna that introduced Hildryn, Deck 12, and an all new boss fight.

And that’s just the start! Warframe’s dev team is deep in development with the Plains of Eidolon Remaster and Gas City Remaster updates -- two gameplay and graphical overhauls that renew both areas -- and exciting, game-changing updates like The New War and Railjack. With a full graphical overhaul using the graphics technology created for last fall's Fortuna, Plains of Eidolon Remaster delivers dynamic lighting, textures and atmosphere, resurfaced terrain for better K-Drive Hoverboard action, and introduces conservation and a new Grineer menace, the wily Tusk Thumpers. Plains of Eidolon Remaster is free to download on consoles today.

The graphical overhaul will enhance all visual aspects of Plains of Eidolon Remaster. Warframe's open world will see advanced lightning techniques that bring brilliant lighting and shadow changes to the day-night cycle, sending god rays through more detailed trees, bush and fog, and will add crisp new texture details to the foliage and earthen landscape.

For the K-Drive, players will experience new terrain to jump off and grind on, and should be wary of the new Tusk Thumper enemies, three different pneumatic ground-pounders that smash anything in their way. Tenno can now earn a new badge for hunting and conserving three new animals on the Plains -- previously only available on Fortuna -- and special Floofs with which to decorate their Orbiters.

Можно обновляться, The Jovian Concord: Update 25.2.0. Это считай уже второй ремастер в Фортуне. Первый был в апреле - Plains of Eidolon Remaster.

Разрабы провели колоссальную работу, перетряхнули весь контент, повыкидывали ненужные ассеты, и теперь игра вместо 22 гигов весит 15! Не пугайтесь, игра выкачивается полностью.

Еще на конфе показали демку нового дополнения Empyrean.
Теперь станут доступны космические баталии, выходы в открытый космос, захват кораблей и тп. Можно будет собирать свою команду из 4-х человек, чтобы вместе всякие безобразия нарушать )))

Upgrade your battleship’s Equipment, Cosmetic, and Reinforcements with weapons such as the Auto-Cannon, Pulse Laser, Homing Missile Launcher, EMP Stun weapons, and Decoy Countermeasures. Boost your Shields, Engine, Hull and Stealth using resources found during your voyages. Beautify it all by customizing aesthetics from primary, secondary and tertiary colors and accents. And of course, christen your ship with a custom name emblazoned on the Railjack’s hull.

NIGHTWAVE SERIES 2 CHANGES
Based on your feedback, Nightwave Series 2 introduces a suite of changes to reduce the time and tension of earning rewards.
• Playing Catch-Up! - We added a way for you to play acts from previous weeks in case you missed them!
• De-grindification! - Less Weekly and Elite Weekly acts, but still giving the same amount of Standing as you would get from Series 1! In addition, we are looking to front-load Nightwave Creds as an earlier reward for participating in the Series!
• Act Changes! - We have lowered the Time and Wave requirements for some Endless Mission Acts, as well as lowering the cost of Ayatan Statues (this was implemented during Series 1). In addition, we have also removed the ‘with friends’ requirements from all of our Nightwave Acts!
• New Acts! - Including the most important one... petting your Kubrow or Kavat. We also included some Acts for Kuva missions, Transmuting Mods and K-Drive Races!

NIGHTWAVE FAQ
What is Nightwave?
Ongoing pirate radio broadcast hosted by Nora Night, the eyes and ears of the Origin System. Each Nightwave Series will unfold over several weeks and tells a brand-new story. Completing daily and weekly challenges - called Acts - will unlock limited-time, exclusive rewards!

How do I earn Nightwave rewards?
In each Nightwave Series, you’ll earn standing with Nora by completing Acts to rise through the Reward Tiers. Unlock power items, exclusive cosmetics or currency called Emissary Creds with each new Tier reached. Make sure to complete all 30 Tiers before the Series is over to earn all the rewards!
How long will Series 2 run?

Nightwave Series 2 will last about 10 weeks -- we don't have an exact end date, so this may shift. Each new Series starts fresh for all players, which means your Emissary Creds and Nightwave Standing will expire at the end of the series. Spend them before they disappear!

What are Episodes? When will new Episodes come out?
Episodes are introduced throughout the course of a Nightwave Series that move the story along and may include in-game changes (i.e. more enemies, stronger enemies).

Шо-то я в этих апдейтах запутался. Перед запуском в этом году крупного дополнения Empyrean они еще выпускают Rising Tide:

This update also features the first steps to the Liset that will prepare it for Empyrean. The Rising Tide update will overhaul select visual aspects of your personal landing craft, adding in updated machines, enhanced lighting, and even a new "moonroof", perfect for basking in the majesty of Origin System starlight.

An assortment of new weapons, armor and cosmetics also will be available in the Rising Tide update starting with the Cumulus Collection, an ethereal assortment of weapons, armor and cosmetics. Additionally new Equinox Antonym Collection offers Warframe's master of day and night a new Antonym Skin that transforms when Equinox shifts forms, as well Equinox's signature Circadian Syandana and signature Astreos Sword and Shield Skin.

Building the Dry Dock and Railjack can be accomplished using resources obtained for free in-game. The Cumulus Collection and Equinox Antonym Collection can be obtained through the Warframe Marketplace.

Warframe's Rising Tide update will be available soon on PC. Look for the console versions in the future.

Скоро обещают и на консолях:



На PS4/XB1 вышел апдейт Rising Tide, который позволит уже начинать строить доки и свои корабли для боев в космосе. Видимо и для свича тоже он скоро выйдет. Без кораблей-то потом не полетаешь в Эмпириан.

NEXT LEVEL COOPERATIVE GAMEPLAY
On the precipice of The New War, veteran and new players alike will find themselves playing closely together using high-level cooperation and communication skills. Whether it’s blasting hordes of opponent Fighters and Crewships, or shooting like a bullet from the Archwing Cannon into enemy vessels to commandeer or destroy them, players will wield new upgradeable offensive firepower. But to succeed, Railjack squads will need both offense and defense. The working Railjack vessel takes damage, requires resources to keep ammo flowing, and will need players’ coordinated attention, from dousing fires and welding hull holes to combating enemy boarding parties.

Empyrean Highlights Include:

Welcome to the Railjack: Empyrean puts players at the helm of the Sigma Series Railjack battleship. This ultra powerful ship is upgradeable, customizable, and the centerpiece for all future Empyrean space missions, battles and Cinematic Quests.

Getting the Team Together: This phase of Empyrean is designed and optimized as a cooperative experience. Solo players will still be able to enjoy Empyrean, but the difficulty and progression is balanced around full crews. The year 2020 will bring enhanced solo capabilities and more surprises!

Free Flight: Intimidated? Don’t be. Try out the Railjack in Free Flight Mode. Learn the basics without engaging in battle and then join a squad when you’re ready.

Railjack Powers: The Railjack itself provides incredibly diverse options to counter Grineer assailants. With constantly updated technology like Cloaking Fields and Void Holes to be earned, and special moves like “Juke” to out-maneuver enemies, players will earn powerful moves as they progress.

Warframe Powers: Aboard the Railjack in combat, players also have a wealth of fantasy-fulfilling options at hand. They can jettison into battle using Archwings to infiltrate enemy ships or shoot from “Archwing cannons” to annihilate smaller ships. Using the Tactics map, Tenno can tap into on-board Warframe Abilities and cast them where needed. They direct their teammates to attend crises, welding hull holes or confronting a boarding party, and they can teleport from location to location, whether it’s on board the Raijack or an enemy vessel.

NEW UPGRADEABLE SYSTEMS

Empyrean: Update 27.0.5 is in development and set to arrive early 2020 on Nintendo Switch! As Empyrean launches on PS4 and Xbox One, we want to make sure you’re informed about what to expect of Warframe on the Nintendo Switch as we near the end of the year.

We’re delighted that we were able to ship the remastered Rising Tide update before the holidays, so you could enjoy meeting Cephalon Cy and build your Railjack. Despite unforeseen issues with Cert last month, we were able to quickly deliver the latest update. The team was very excited about shipping the build, in addition to getting Warframe down below the base memory allowance (from 22 GB to 16.5GB)!

While we were able to get Rising Tide out in a speedy fashion, the timing simply didn’t align for us to submit Empyrean to Cert before Nintendo closed for the holidays. That said, the team here at DE is making sure they do what they can before they also leave on break to ensure the update is in top shape once submissions open back up in 2020.

We will return refreshed and ready to bring you a hearty Empyrean that’s up-to-date on hotfixes with proper consideration for controller bindings and performance!
