• Mech concept designs were created by Mr. Kawamori, who also worked on the

Пишут что демка не впечатляет. А вам как?

Вряд-ли она должна была кого-то "впечатлить". Все всё видели и знали с чем дело иметь будут. Я читал разные отзывы, и хорошие и не очень хорошие, но особо плохих не было пока:

Holy hell, it's actually pretty fun and it runs smoothly (so far!)

Not to mention the soundtrack is pretty damn cool, too. After finishing the demo, I find myself trying out free missions so it's a lot more fun now than the first demo.

I haven't try gyro aiming yet, but my friends seem to enjoying it more than the regular control, so I will give it a try later. They recommend me to max out the gyro aiming as it gives a smoother experience, but I'll see when I try that.

First off, this game has very fun mech combat. And it very much reminds me of Armored Core, which is a huge plus in my book. Customization is great, you can build your mech using the base design by fighting and destroying other mechs and looting their parts. I love that...Bit of an obscure reference, but I got major flashbacks to playing Zoids Battle Legends.

I love the music and the art direction as well. The demo itself is actually fairly meaty with around 5 story missions and 2 repeatable missions.

Gotta say, it's a bit odd. Not offputting odd, just...weird at points. The characterization of a lot of characters are abit weird. It's kinda hard to explain, but at first glance they appear one note and they really really emphasize that one defining character trait. It's not necessarily a criticism, just an observation.

Another thing there is this odd inclusion of an ice cream parlor you visit to get passive mission buffs and it's sort of...really out of place.

Overall though, I am very much intrigued by the story and while the characters aren't meshing with me yet, it is still too early to tell. It is a mech game after all and historically Armored Core like games don't have the best narratives. Though this one is acting like it's got a big narrative to tell so maybe I'll be surprised.

The setting and music do give me some Nier Automata and Zone of the Enders vibe so maybe that's a good sign.
