"Воплощение выразительности" =)

Everyone keeps a passion hidden within their hearts with thoughts like, “I want to shine,” and “I want my dreams fulfilled.” That hidden glimmer can be sensed as energy exclusively by the Mirages and Mirage Masters. When someone expresses themselves, they shine as greatly as their accomplishments. This is called “Performa.” Those active in the entertainment industry possess great Performa. Mirage enemies attack humans in order to steal their Performa, an energy that does not exist in their world.

Support System
The protagonist will receive messages from his office friends in real-time through the “Topic” tool, allowing him to communicate with his colleagues. You can advance the story through these messages, and sometimes replying to these messages will result in side-stories that deepen your bonds with other characters.

Shop
In town, you can visit the shops to pick up equipment. In the “Hiho Mart” convenience store, you’ll find useful items to fight against Mirages, and the shop posters and background music will also change. In the “Jewelry Caravia” accessory shop, you’ll find accessories that enhance various parameters. And at the “Anzu Store Tokyo” clothing shop, you’ll find additional outfits.

On the role of music/entertainment in the game…

Hirata: It’s not just music, we’ve depicted a wide variety of entertainment forms through the party members. For instance, Toma dreams of being an action star, aspiring to take the lead role in a tokusatsu program. Additionally, Eleonora is a young actress who aims to be a Hollywood star. There are some issues because she’s half-Japanese, so there’s some bittersweet drama in her quest to fulfil her dream.

Of course, there’s lot’s of music too! Tiki also sings tracks aside from “Beastie Game” and we recently introduced the songstress Mamori the other day – there’s music prepared for her too. In addition, there’s characters performing in duos, characters with theme songs… there’s quite a lot of variation. You’ll see everyone shine in a range of scenes so please enjoy!

On the appearance of Fire Emblem characters…

Hirata: This time around we’ve revealed three more Mirages. With their size difference, Mamori and Doga are an odd couple. We’ll detail more on the combination of these buddies in this blog, so stay tuned!

Kiriya’s Mirage is Tharja. Both characters are similar and exert the same seductive aura, so I think it’s a perfect match. Tharja was a really popular character in Fire Emblem Awakening and we’ve tried to capture her appeal through her Mirage form. In this status screen you can see the two characters posing; the bewitching dynamic between the pair is a real favourite of mine. Wait, what am I going on about? Anyway, there’s a range of other Fire Emblem characters in the game so keep an eye out for more news!

Ishida: Eleonora and Virion combine despite having conflicting personalities. Eleonra is a bit of a rowdy tomboy so Virion, with his upper-class elegance, tries to correct her manners and behaviour. Her tries to guide her into becoming a “respectable lady”, but will his wish ever come true? That’s all well and good but why the heck does such an “upstanding gentleman” have two bows on his arms? (laughs)

Well, I guess it’s so that the actors match. There any many Mirages that have yet to be announced and that’ll be covered in the next update! Please look forward to it.

On Chrom’s appearance…

Ishida: Chrom and his comrades are warriors from another world that are engaged in an endless battle. As a result, they’ve evolved into a specialised form for combat – that’s the basis for the setting. They’re all heroes, but at the same time they look almost like monsters. Their designs reflect something like the sorrowful, dark history of their struggle. They needed to specialise to survive, so that means that their unneeded body parts have degenerated.

On whether there will be a Wyvern Rider Mirage in the game…

Ishida: When you buy the game you can see for yourself! Fire Emblem is known for a lot of things that people will want, but we can’t afford to say too much until it’s out!

On whether you can swap or train up mirages…

Hirata: The game focuses on the relationship between the mirages and their masters – since we wanted to emphasise the sense of camaraderie between the two, the Mirages are all fixed to each character. That said, there are elements of the Mirage itself that can change. We’re preparing to publish more on the combination of Mirage training and close relations with their masters.

-  System section of the website was updated with details about Dungeons and the Battle System
- dungeons are accessed from the real world, and are called ''Hydra Sphere;
- inside, there’s various gimmicks and obstacles to overcome, and of course enemy Mirages and bosses to defeat
- clearing those dungeons will allow you to progress through the story, naturally
- each Hydra Sphere has a different design, with various gimmicks inside
- For example, in the dungeon located inside Building 106 (which was showcased at E3), you have to operate a giant doll in order to move around the various levels. Unsurprisingly, the boss is hiding on the top floor
- as for battles, they’re triggered automatically when you come into contact with enemies inside the Hydra Spheres
- can get the first strike by slashing at them before the battle starts, instead of simply walking into them
- just like in pretty much all turn-based RPG, you battle by giving commands to your characters
- in order to get the upper hand, you need to take advantage of enemy weaknesses (so you can get some bonuses)
- as you defeat enemies, you get XP and other stats increases
- there’s also a Skill gauge, and when it’s filled, your Mirages learn a new Skill
- you also get various materials, which can then be used to make weapons

Update
– From the real world of Tokyo, players will visit an area known as the “Idolsphere”
– This other world has various gimmicks that block players’ paths
– There are many enemy Mirages here as well
– Gimmicks are tailored to each location
– Ex: in Shibuya’s “106” building dungeon, the goal is to get to the top floor by moving floors using a giant mannequin arm
– Break into battle when you make contact with an enemy symbol
– Characters will perform actions when you give them commands
– When you strike an enemy’s weak point, a “Session Attack” will occur and you’ll let out a number of continuous attacks
– Get experience points, skill points, and Performa by winning battles
– As you amass skill points, you can acquire new skills
– Use Performa as material to create new weapons

Main Story

- the world is attacked by Mirages
- these are beings from another world known as the Idolasphere
- Itsuki and his friends–“Mirage Masters” from the same entertainment company–join forces with friendly Mirages
- they team up to repel the Idolasphere’s mysterious invasion

Side stories

- focus on Itsuki’s friends and their daily lives as entertainers
- each has their own struggles and dreams and it’s up to Itsuki to help them out
- as they improve as entertainers and enhance their “Performa”, their ability in battle will increase
- during battles, if you trigger a Session Attack with an artist, the artist’s “Stage Rank” will increase

- the pair decide to go hunting for ghoulish-looking monsters in the Idolasphere
- after winning a fight, Eleanora discovers a new Performa
- Eleanora rewrites the horror play to become “Horror Hunter”, a story about a high school girl who vanquishes evil. Hmm,

- revolve around her life as a newcomer idol
- these involve hand-shaking events, commercial shoots and solo concerts

Kiria side stories

- popular musician with a “secret she can’t tell anyone”

Supporting Characters

“Tiki is my Waifu”

- A high school girl known as “Tiki is my Waifu” who creates music with synthesised voice software
- her love for Tiki transcends gender and all logic

Ayaha Oribe

- Tsubasa’s elder sister, a renowned and talented former idol. She now works as a secretary at Fortuna Entertainment and provides assistance to Itsuki and the others.

Kuen Tarachino

- An exceptional drama director with a peculiar fashion sense. He’s strict on himself and others, causing his production staff to fear him. Currently disdains the entertainment and TV industry.

Yatsufusa Hatanaka

- An ace producer said to be the cornerstone of any successful production. Having lost his way in the Idolasphere once, he keeps a watchful eye for Mirage incidents.

Riku Suzumoto

- A young lad who watches hero shows at the top floor of the department store. After meeting Toma, his feelings of despair towards the world gradually change.

Teru Gojouin

- A comedian who presents Tsubasa’s idol audition show. Although he acts like a cheerful clown, he’s a serious and cowardly man.

Chouten Sawafuji

- A genius musician with the nickname “man with a million promises”. Also composed music for idols who died sudden and mysterious deaths and currently composing music for Tsubasa…

Nobu Horinozawa

- A popular cameraman who’s able to capture the purest beauty of any woman. His debut piece of Maiko during her gravure idol days instantly propelled him to the top of the industry.

Mahiro Tsurumi

- The new president of Diver TV. Because he came from a political background, few know of him. Has an air of authority belonging to those that have experienced many hardships.
