С 16 по 18 января в Splatoon 2 пройдёт фестиваль на тему Super Mario. Попавшие в топ-100 игроки любой из команд получат коллекционную медаль к 35-летию Super Mario Bros.

2 new multiplayer stages, 1 returning stage

1 new main weapon, 1 new sub weapon (it hasn't been named and featured yet but it's used by the Pro in this trailer), 6 new special weapons (some not named or featured yet but appear here)

New roll and dash mechanics

1 new confirmed band, 10ish new songs depending on how you count them

New hub (kind of, admittedly it's mostly just a name and vibes thus far)

Lots of new clothing and customization options

New player title cards, end of match medals, HUD improvements, new victory animations, improved spectator or replay mode, etc.

1 new Salmon run map, 2 new normal boss salmonids, 1 special boss salmonids, new egg throwing mechanics, etc.

New single player campaign, teasing new fuzzy ink mechanics.
