По уже славной традиции отменили инди-игру Stardew Valley для Wii U:

Stardew Valley will not be coming to the Wii U, however. Looking at Wii U and the current gaming landscape, we made the difficult choice to shift our development efforts to creating a version for Nintendo Switch.  I am really looking forward to the Switch, and I believe that the Switch’s unique capabilities could create some exciting opportunities for Stardew Valley. I do want to emphasize that I am absolutely committed to seeing Stardew Valley on Nintendo platforms, and I really do appreciate your support and understanding in this.

На вии ю осталось дождаться всего 4 игры: Новая Зельда (многие ее купят на свиче), Yooka-Laylee , Дарксайдерс 1 и Shantae: Half-Genie Hero. Вот и все, совсем скоро консольку можно будет убирать на полочку.

Clive 'N' Wrench отменена для Wii U =)

Lastly I think it's worth discussing release platforms. Back when we first launched this campaign we had Wii U as a main target platform. As I'm sure most of you are aware by now, the Wii U has ceased production and is fairly quickly being phased out, making room for the Switch. Whilst we definitely want CnW to appear on a Nintendo system at some point in the future, it seems very unlikely that the Wii U is a viable option any more. So I would like to apologise to anyone who was hoping to see Clive 'N' Wrench on their Wii U, but that is unfortunately no longer the plan.

However we still aim to launch with PC as our lead platform and with Linux and Mac hopefully following soon thereafter. As for consoles, we're also very eager to appear on one or more in the future, but that will entirely depend on how well our initial release goes! I do hope you can understand this decision, and feel free to ask any questions you may have!

Хотя проект изначально задумывался вообще-то под Wii U =))) Ну их всех понять можно, зачем разрабатывать игру для приставки, снятой с производства? Теперь ждите только на PC/Mac/Linux.
Зато теперь с чистой совестью "I Switched to Mac" на все эти индюшки (включая Yooka-Laylee). Думаю, чтобы их спиратить большого ума не нужно.

Bad Land Indie решило издать Axiom Verge The Multiverse Edition на физике для Wii U, PS4 и Vita! Думаю, что для коллекционеров это будет очень интересно, тем более комплект неплох:

Я вот хотел за Axium Verge сказать , очень ждал эту игру для WiiU . Я думал , что игра в целом по сути напоминает серию метроид , которую я просто обожаю ( 2D исключительно ) . Когда вышло , приобрел , поиграл и забросил ((( Все что мне понравилось в Axium Verge , это начальный сайнд трэк , он восхитительный , и все . Я думал прииграюсь , проникнусь , но нет , дух новизны какой то , не знаю почему , но реально игра у меня не зашла , хотя часа 3 наверное пытался проникнуться (( Очень жаль , ибо люблю такие игры ..

Удивительно, но Hive Jump не отменили для Wii U и он находится в стадии одобрения Ниной. К сожалению, в апреле не успели, нашли еще несколько косяков, щас исправляют их. В общем релиз не за горами:

Back in March we sent out a celebratory note to all of you that we’d submitted to Nintendo of America for certification. Our review took a little longer than expected because of a few issues regarding our developer registration. However, thanks to the awesome work of some folks at Nintendo those issues got resolved quickly and we went into review in early April.

The results from our review were a little bittersweet. We weren’t approved for release. However, the rejection list included only few issues that needed to be corrected to earn approval. We didn’t waste any time. We jumped right on them and began work to get the issues repaired.

To share a few details, one of the corrections related to how our game alerts players when unused controllers are disconnected from the console during play. Since we support a variety of controllers on Wii U we needed to ensure this process was consistent and compliant with the guidelines. We also got flagged for a few issues relating to how we use the Home Button on the GamePad controller. On some screens, using the Home Button would cause the game to crash.

Suffice it to say, these weren’t super-fast fixes but our engineering team worked diligently to get those issues repaired. We’re happy to say we’ve now gotten those critical systems fixed and they’ve been tested internally. HOORAH!… right?
Well, during this testing phase, we’ve uncovered a few more issues that we want to cleaned up before we re-submit. These are important (such as how some UI elements are handled), and while we’ve got the chance, we want to get these issues cleared as well. We’re very hopeful that this re-submission will yield an approval and have us on our way to the eShop!
