Да понятно, что можно и на средних ПК-настройках в 720p запустить, наверное, просто там будет 1–2 fps. Странно заявлять про такое «снято на Switch». Хотя мы пока тут скринов от игроков не видели из дока, а ведь игра иногда выдаёт честные 720p, как я понял.

There aren’t any new, useless features in The Witcher 3 on Switch, like motion controls, which is fine because the standard controls work flawlessly. Aside from the visuals, you can’t tell the difference between playing this and other versions.

The framerate is rock solid, bugs are minimal/nonexistent and, honestly, I might even prefer the handheld version. I think every game should be on Switch because playing on the go is the best.

Now that The Witcher 3 is on Switch, there’s no reason that every other game in existence isn’t. I love The Witcher 3 and on Switch, I love it even more.

Of course, the other consoles and PC offer a far better representation of the same game but if they aren’t an option for you, or the portability is a priority, then The Witcher 3 on Switch is a must-have and a sign not only of Nintendo’s increasing third person muscle but the fact that good game design always shines through, despite minor technical issues.

Nintendo Life (9/10):
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt remains a masterpiece, and being able to take such a grand and engrossing adventure on the go is something well worth celebrating. The Switch's Complete Edition is a truly impressive achievement, and although performance isn't perfect, it's still an incredible and impactful role-playing experience. The Witcher 3 set the bar for modern RPGs back in 2015, and this port is a startling reminder that it has yet to be bettered.

The Digital Fix (9/10):
Its amazing what has been done with this portable Witcher 3 port. Yes the graphics are downgraded, yes it does not look as good as other versions but it is a well running portable version of a great RPG. You get a lot of game for your money and it is well worth your time and effort.

Nintendo Insider (9/10):
Without a doubt, the best way to experience The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition is on a much more powerful system with a top of the range television to match. After all, the game can be found for a much cheaper price on other consoles due to its age. However, that kind of luxury isn’t always practical, and what CD Projekt Red and Saber Interactive have done to make the Nintendo Switch version possible is a stunning achievement in its own right. The premium price tag that marks the game will never feel like it isn’t value for money. That is, assuming the genre is of taste to the player plunging in on the purchase.

God is a Geek (9/10, video):
Regardless, if you’ve never played this brilliant game before, I’d still recommend experiencing it on Xbox One X or PC for the highest visual fidelity, but if you’re planning to get up close and personal with Geralt, Triss, and Yennifer, then handheld is the way to go. Modern life takes away so much of our time and Nintendo’s Switch has given us some back in the evening. As the cold nights draw in and we close the curtains on the rain outside, I can’t think of a better thing to do than spend some time with The Witcher 3. It’s not as good looking, but it’s still a glorious game.

Hobby Consolas (87/100, review in spanish):
The Witcher 3 is still one of the best written RPGs of the generation, but the technical failures of this version tarnish the great White Wolf adventure. All in all, having the complete game and the two expansions in a portable console is something magical.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition on the Nintendo Switch has become a remarkable technical feat thanks to its stable frame rate and huge amount of content. Only the non-constant resolution of 720p and some reduced graphic elements reduce the viewing experience, especially in TV mode. Who can live with it and wants to play the title exclusively on the way, can access here without hesitation.

With all that said, there’s no denying that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on Nintendo Switch should be considered a resounding achievement. While far from the definitive version, what’s here is very much the complete experience, DLC and all. It’s easy to see how players would prefer the convenience of undertaking Geralt’s journey on the go, either from the very beginning or as someone who missed out on Hearts of Stone or Blood and Wine and are craving a way to jump in right away. Switcher 3 is the ultimate fantasy RPG and the ultimate in convenience.

If you have lived on the planet Nintendo in recent decades, you have lost jewelry like this. That has no excuse. Luckily, in that case you won't notice too much when you put the console in the dock and watch its graphics on TV. As for the rest, we recommend that you spend a lot of this theme and enjoy this great game, with all its main and secondary missions, its commissions, its expansions and its sorcerer's potions. Unwind your swords and enjoy, that although in a tiny way and much poorer than normal, what those poor and detexturized graphics tell, it is still worth it.

"Ведьмак 3: Дикая Охота - Полное издание" для Nintendo Switch - все тот же шедевр, что и раньше, но теперь с возможностью взять игру с собой. Четкость графики ощутимо проигрывает остальным консолям, но это не так заметно в портативном формате, особенно с учетом хорошей оптимизации и красивых персонажей. Если вы мечтали погрузиться в густую атмосферу славянского фэнтези в дороге, то можете смело купить игру. Во всех остальных случаях лучше взять более дешевую и красивую версию для PC (или других систем).

В целом восхищаются портом и работой SABER:

Overall, Saber and CDPR hit an impressive bar of quality here. Clearly, performance can vary, but on balance it holds 30ps more often than I expected. The Witcher 3 Complete Edition pruned back everything it can to be playable, while still somehow retaining a lot of its best visual features. Graphical points like reflections, light shafts, water physics, and even a high NPC count are incredible to see on a handheld.

This is close to perfection. The only thing you more you could ask for is a cloud-based mechanism, to transfer PC save games to Switch and vice-versa. The feature worked brilliantly in Divinity: Original Sin 2 and suits a massive-scale adventure game like this one. Being able to play an uncompromised experience at home on PC, and swapping seamlessly over to Switch for portable play, would delivered the best of both worlds for the most ardent Witcher 3 players. And I really should stress that the handheld experience is very special overall. In fact, it's a stunning technical showcase for the Switch and a credit to the developers at Saber Interactive and CD Projekt RED.

Docked:
720p is the highest we've seen the game render at while docked, dropping to 960x540 in our tests at lowest, seen while panning past the city in Toussaint.

Portable:
Handheld play works the same way as docked - a dynamic pixel count that adjusts based on load. Here Switch uses 960x540 as the top number, but drops steeply where it needs to. Pick a busy street in Novigrad for example, and the lowest reading comes in at just 810x456

NPCs are drawn at half frame rate at distance:
their draw distance is compromised on Switch, but the rendering range on NPCs is generous enough to cram everyone in. The only snag is that the frame-rate on characters is halved towards the distance.

Pop in issues:
Beyond the inevitable blurriness, there are further downsides. The first is pop-in; often it's well-handled, but Switch has limits in how quickly it can draw everything in. The big trouble spot is cut-scenes; fast camera cuts overwhelm the system, and the way geometry flickers in and out can be pretty glaring. Detail-rich areas such as Novigrad can also push the streaming systems hard, resulting in pop-in that varies on repeat tests.

Textures, filtering and sound quality also take a hit:
The Witcher 3's drive for compression also has an impact beyond FMV quality. Textures and sound also take a hit. Texture assets and filtering are of a notably lower quality, where a form of trilinear filtering is used which adds to the generally blurry look

Foliage density compared to PS4:
There are few surprises in terms of console comparisons. Beyond the resolution drop, shadows, textures, and LODs are altered. Panning around the outskirts of Novigrad, foliage density is pruned back significantly. It's all reined in, creating a generally less filled out world - at a distance anyway - on Switch. It's amazing what's achieved on a smaller, less powerful system, but the trade-off to make it happen can't be overlooked.

Docked performance:
And while there are some notable dips, the bulk of the time in areas like Velen - at least outside towns - delivers a mostly solid 30fps. Docked play is solid, but dense areas like Novigrad will see performance drop to something closer to 20fps.

Portable performance:
Portable play is similar, but not quite as robust overall. Once again, we're looking at 30fps, but when taxed in stress points it'll go into the 20s

Сами вы ужас. Продолжайте фапать на графику, выбор исключительно ваш. С радостью играю уже который день, и все мне в этой игре нравится. Изначально понятно было, на что способна тегра и чего в принципе ждать от такой игры. Чудеса - в соседнем отделе.
